I also run a subscriber only list. Recently Microsoft blocked all or almost all
of our Microsoft users (live.com, msn.com, outlook.com, hotmail.com, etc.) with
a message similar to
host
hotmail-com.olc.protection.outlook.com[52.101.11.4] said: 550 5.7.1
Unfortunately, messages from [MY IP ADDRESS] weren't sent. Please contact
your Internet service provider since part of their network is on our block
list (S3150).
Dream Host responded to Microsoft with a request to unblock our IP (since its
on no publicly known block lists!) -- but also moved our GNU Mailman list to a
different IP address for us as they have no confidence Microsoft will bother.
Still waiting to see if that is the end of it.
