That's exactly what I am thinking, but was not sure about. Address formatting in mail headers is not exactly simple. It's one reason why I'm always irritated when people are using regexps to match on those. Heck " "@example.com is a proper email address and I am a little tickled to use that and confuse the heck out of people (but most software too I guess).
