them to verify my dns data is ok

is your plan to use google mx ?
or keep it all on dm.de ? :)
google blame you need spf mx server includes, you dont need to follow
them there, its only valid for when dm.de is on google mx
Or is the Google admin toolbox broken, or is it only
designed for Gsuite domains and expects some Google specific entries
like it does for the SPF check?
its not brokken, but its only help to make google mx server setup valid,
if you dont use google mx, then you should not use that toolbox
to get more neutral help use dmarcian.com for advise on dns setups and
checks
