chair and fired the super perforator :-)
Indeed, at around 10:20 the rejects stopped again.
Generally, the measure seems to have an effect. Some larger mail service
operators probably removed the list after a short while, as some stopped
rejecting way earlier.

They complained in February that still 1 million requests per hour are sent to
the DNSBL and started to send out emails to the abuse contacts of the querying
IP addresses. Maybe they were not happy with the results and decided to list
the world to bring down the numbers? I don't know. After about two hours of
returning 127.0.0.2 for everything the DNSBL responds with NXDOMAIN again.
