The logs below speak for themselves.  And if I do this, imagine the real 
pros of mailbox providers.  Someone suffering of your same misconception 
tried to deliver to me a few hours ago.  Context:  A publisher on 
Substack wanted my email address in exchange for "free" access to an 
article I was mildly interested into.  I was on a long train ride and 
looked for some entertaining to read  Publisher had all the best 
intentions / double-opt-in / etc.  The logs speak for themselves. 
Obviously, I did not get access.  Not missing it, found another way to 
read other entertaining content.
