Hi, James,

Thank you for writing.

I have the proper ports selected now. I have even set up 5 tracks to be used
when recording a song. I have not yet recorded anything except a test just to
see if I can record.

My synth has no menu button. The function button opens a list of items which
can be adjusted. It's a matter of arrowing a certain number of time, pressing
"enter" to put me onto the MIDI page. Then there are a few more key presses and
then local will be turned off.

I have all the sequences for that on a recording. I'll try it to see if I can
turn local off. Turning the synth on or off resets the instrument to local on.

This is complex so I hope I can master it.

I must use the track menu to create a track rather than using the shortcut key.
It does nothing.

Thank you James and a few others for your help and your interest. I hope that I
can ultimately produce some decent sequences.

Joe Giovanelli
