Hello, I'm running a new Macbook Air with Windows 8.
Intrigued by the discussion of BassMIDI on Windows7 and the sound fonts which it can play, I downloaded and installed the packages to the best of my knowledge. When I run qws or another midi program, I'm offered -1midi mapper 0 MicroSoft Wave Table synth 1. BassMidiPortA 2 BassMidiPortB If I choose either of the BassMidi ports, I get no sound. I do not know where bassmidi is installed, or I would move the sound fonts folder to that location. Help appreciated. John Sanfilippo
