You need to install sound fonts in the driver, and this isn't done by just
dropping in files, because it needs an order for them. This will determine
what plays. There should be a BassMIDI program group, and Configure Driver
should be in it. Run that little program, and it'll let you point to
anywhere to find your sounds. Load what you want, and then you can access
the sounds.
I didn't know there were multiple BassMIDI ports in later versions. Now I'm
intrigued...
