what file are we speaking of? I didn't see a link
. but there are good kontakt libs for the motif, however, I have not the slightest clue on how you would get it to work with qws. but if the real instrument is 3600 and you're willing to pay that amount, I'm sure if you have to rig up something to run kontakt, pay for kontakt and pay for the sound pack (kontakt lib) it would be still ways cheaper than buying the motif. Keep in mind, what works for you works for you, and if you really like qws as I do, its worth buying the motif, and the actual instrument is a beast, I'm just suggesting an alternative because you asked.
hope I've helped in some way.

Subject: QWS List Realism before the motif

H hi all,
I have my sights set on a Yamaha motif. It will cost $3600.
The question I wanted to ask is, before I pay that $3600, is there any kind of on computer sound pack, that has as realistic patches as the motif, that I can use with my midi controller. It can cost, I can save up and pay for something, but I want to know that it's accessible, and works with QWS. That's why asked on this list and not Mini mag in general. I wanted to make sure it will work with UWS because that is all I use at the moment. This file is what my patches sound like now. I want to get something better that I can play both jazz, and electronic pop. Thanks, blake. To unsubscribe or change list options, see http://lists.andrelouis.com
