In such cases, you should extract the internal MSI using 7-zip and run that msi like so:
msiexec /l*v install.log /i path/to/the.msi Windows installer will then log everything to install.log But I'm pretty sure I know what's wrong. You should check and remove anything in IIS (via IIS manager) that could conflict with what the installer will be creating. A rough checklist would be: - FastCGI applications - Virtual Directories (eg. mapguide) - Application Pools (eg. MapGuide24AppPool) I've put up some preliminary release notes as well: http://trac.osgeo.org/mapguide/wiki/Release/2.4/Notes - Jackie -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1560.n6.nabble.com/MapGuide-2-4-Beta-tp4553155p4894252.html Sent from the MapGuide Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ mapguide-users mailing list mapguide-users@lists.osgeo.org http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/mapguide-users
