Maptitude - http://research.umbc.edu/~roswell/maptitude.html

Mike,

When you double-clicked in a layout you opened another copy of the map
your layout was generated from. I have found Maptitude will shut down and give

you that error message when not sure about what to do. Save your work often
when editing, especially polygon coverages because you will lose everything
back to the last time you save or closed.

To avoid error message and closing in your situation just have one copy
of the map open. It is very agitating.

        I have a question?

Does everyone have trouble with the dataview window that
opens with the I info tool? Has anyone been able to get it to default
open
somewhere besides Right, Center and can you change the size, column
settings w/out having to set them each session?

        Thanks
