To the DK gang,
As promised, here is our new utilities.rsc, version 1.01, with two new
buttons:
Kill PBars - gets rid of those left over progress bars when you get an
error, usually while testing a new DK program.
Adj Areas - create file of combinations of areas and their adjacent areas
with distance between centroids,
and length of common edges. Right now this outputs only the IDs of the
areas, so you will have to join back to the original layer to get useful
names, etc.
The method I use to compute the common edges length seems to work but I
haven't checked it in all possible topological situations, so you may want
to check a few the first time you run it.
This program is getting so big I will now make it an attachment rather than
including it in the text of the message.
I hope you find these useful.
