Smile.

The secret is PHP, along repositories of sample, free code.
PHP is good. It's like ColdFusion, only free, and open source.

I'm not such a "whiz," though. I mean, it's a security hole that's miles
wide that anyone can update the file just by uploading a same-name file.
(that's why I'll be occasionally archiving the file to
www.freebikemaps.org/mapt/archive/ ) For our purposes, it works, though.
Glad you found it helpful!

Ah: I can see you're using Internet Explorer. (In Netscape it says "save
link as" when you use this right-click method.) You can also load the file
into the browser, and do a regular menu "save as" (maybe best in that case
to put quotes around the filename, so that Windows doesn't try to append
an unwanted file extension.)

Have I mentioned: I bought my first copy of MapInfo on Valentines Day,
1991. 10 years of desktop mapping!

Thanks again for these utilities,

Margie
