Maptitude - http://research.umbc.edu/~roswell/maptitude.html Michael: I agree and perhaps Caliper could broker a Maptitude/Transcad community discount with a source of current data so that users could acces updates as needed at a preferred discounted rate. I suspect they want to stay primarily in the GIS software business but since they are competing (at some level anyway) with companies that offer the business data and mapping capability bundled together, it would be something nice to have as a starter data set, with the means to obtain updates through a 3rd party at a preferred user rate. Then people getting XMap or MapPoint might be tempted to get a better GIS rather than just a glorified pin-mapping program.
