I may be involved in setting up a GIS system for a criminal justice
agency. After researching GIS in CJ, I find (not surprisingly) that most
information, tutorials, add-on programs, etc., are made for either ArcView
or MapInfo. While I feel that Maptitide is the best value in GIS systems
and that it could perform all the functions this agency would need, the
lack of support for Maptitude from the CJ community is troubling.
Does anyone know of any organizations that use Maptitude for CJ purposes?
I am looking for experiences and opinions.
