Hi Syed,
You are not going to believe this, but...
Under 0.5, I was getting a problem with marteditor, whereby
some attributes were visible in marteditor but not in martview.
You do not need to do naive. As I worked on your xml last week in your
presence and we noticed that martEditor 0.5 was unable to pass these
attributes down to actual XML from template xml. You may safely delete
such attributes one by one and export. Now you have a clean template
which would reflect whats in your config xml.
...I tried doing what you did last week, namely, from the file menu,
a "Save all". When I looked at the XML, I was a bit surprised to
see all of the previously missing attributes were present there.
When I then did a configure.pl and then restarted Apache, they were
also visible to martview. A miracle! Could it be that "Save all"
does some extra magic in 0.6?
The attributes that were hidden in 0.5 remain missing though. Is
this a feature?
I presume you said yes to the delete templates because not 0.6 compatible
question during the upgrade process?
Guys - the current upgrade progress assumes 0.5 templates are not
compatible with 0.6 and deletes them and regenerates the template from the
existing datasetConfig XML. I really can't remember why we had this logic
now but we probably need to investigate it.
