please check what is being stored in MySQL column itself? whether its
YYYY-MM-DD or just 2006.
Also, could you please confirm if the behaviour is same with MartView.
MartExplorer does not feature all the functionality that BioMart can
offer and is not well maintained anymore.

Hi Jenny,
The naive import import in MartEditor ignores the primary keys for the
tables, that's why they've not shown up.
Just copy one of the other attributes/filters from the same table and
then change the field name to match the primary key column.
