Hi Jennifer,
try this,
perl bin/configure.pl -r conf/myRegistry.xml --clean
the above will do a clean configure if you hvae changed the contents of
myregistry.xml
If this does not help, send me your registry.xml off the mailing list,
thanks

Hi,
We are trying to have biomart working with apache. We managed to have
the service running on our webserver (in fact we can access MSD
PROTOTYPE (EBI UK) mart) but we cannot configure the service to use our
own mart.
We created the myRegistry.xml file as specified in the biomart
documentation and then run the following command:
perl bin/configure.pl -r conf/myRegistry.xml
This is what we get:
Do you want to install in API only mode [y/n] [n]: n
Checking prerequisites ...[Looks good]
APACHE: /usr/sbin/apache2
HOST: localhost
PORT: 5555
PROXY:
LOCATION: /home/jenny/biomart/biomart-perl
APXS/2: /usr/bin/apxs2
You can change the above configuration by editing
"biomart-perl/conf/settings.conf"
Got usable Apache in /usr/sbin/apache2, probing for version & ModPerl
configuration
Have Apache DSO-support and ModPerl library file present, configuring
ModPerl in httpd.conf.
Libdir /home/jenny/biomart/biomart-perl/lib is not in @INC, adding to @INC
Processing Cached Registry:
/home/jenny/biomart/biomart-perl/conf/cachedRegistries/myRegistry.xml.cached
Since we do not get the message (Looks good.... you are done.) we
reckon something goes wrong at this stage, any ideas what this might
be? Our mart is not appearing on the interface.
Thanks,
Jenny and Luca
