Cheers to the thoughts. But let me say certain apprehensions I have about the plan.
Not to disregard my birth place or anything, but it is a known fact that Kerala is blessed with a population who are negatively critical about any new project. Anything new is viewed with suspicion of being right wing. And not to mention, something based on Internet, which is looked upon as something completely right wing.
And another problem might be the general population thinking of Internet as the place which leads everyone awry. Internet is all about porn for a large section. You would have a hard time convincing them. I wonder how many parents will actually give that pocket money for their children to read blogs under the suspicion that they might be watching or reading 'asleelam!!'
These problems come along with some deep rooted convictions among the masses. Very hard to change.
All this I said not to dishearten your praise-worthy attempt. Just pointing out the issues you might face. Setting up space is not everything in itself. But I really hope the Blog Workshop you are designing could address these. Along with help from those among the populace who are open to things.
Good luck sukumaranji. I am really happy for you. For such thoughts which I have come to think have dried up. Marubhoomiyile maruppachha poole, people like you get things going in our world. And hope to see more updates from you on this :)
