I don't know. I think it's pretty clear that Labour is there to set the table for the Tories-- think Callaghan setting the table for Thatcher-- what a banquet that was. And Blair's victory over Major... didn't really amount to an advance for the working class... To my mind, what's in the cards is austerity, big time austerity; austerity that will make Spain's, Greece's, Ireland's budget cuts look like inflationary spending-- whether its Labour or the Tories, that's the deck and it's stacked. So I most certainly would not endorse "hold your nose and vote for Brown." The program of Brown is, and will be, the program for the recuperation of capital.
