I posted, And here we are in a pandemic with mass unemployment still in need of the basic social insurance that the Communist Party called for so many years ago -- and which has become standard in many other developed countries. Meanwhile now, as then, liberals and conservatives stand in the way condemning the less organized left of not toeing the corporate-centrist line. FDR began the presidency as a budget hawk. If you appreciate Social Security, sick leave, worker's rights, minimum wages and, for that matter the 8 hour day, thank a leftist.
