Unlike that of the Green Party, the DSA leadership has called for resolutions to be submitted to a national convention in wsix months. Because the Greens scorned membership structures, its leadership got by without having to do this. It would be a shame were those interested in the future of independent politics not to air our perspectives in this way. I will work on something as I can . . . but we should focus on a common approach. As I see it, the point here would be simply to firm up a position within the DSA and form a network of like-minded people . . . and possibly encourage some ventures into independent political action where locals find it feasible or worthwhile.
