Got any documentation of what Trotsky thought, with a date?

Because in the mid-1930s Trotsky and crew tried to roll back socialist 
industrialization in the Soviet Union and revert to capitalism. Trotsky's 
comrade in the Comintern, Osip Pyatnitsky, admitted, “With a successful 
uprising, the new government will reduce expenditure on industrialization, 
leave only voluntary collective farms, and allow private capital.” ( p. 229 (
