I generally agree with Anthony here on the focus of the Letter which is quite obvious from the first line of the Letter. Secondly, unclear I think from the original posting is that this is actually a copy & past from another source which IS unclear and thus my first two reads of this Letter thought it was aimed at list members. Thirdly, and this goes to ALL list participants here on Marxmail, when copying and pasting, always insert an extra paragraph line to separate out the paragraphs to make it more readable online.
Lastly, the Letter is long and rambling. I would of excerpted 2 paragraphs or so and then add "Full: link to the original full letter". What NOW needs to be discussed is the issue of how the anti-Imperialist "left" (meaning the socialist-left presumably) somehow adapts to the Islamic Republic. It was, IMO, very bad form not to provide precise, quoted examples either from well known individuals in the anti-Imperialist socialist left or groups subscribing to what the author of the Letter is talking about.
