Sorry Chris, where did I write that Rodriguez should have said that? Rodriguez has been clear that the law was drafted in line with discussions prior to Maduro's kidnapping and the law simply legalises what the government has been doing unconstitutionally via the anti-blockade law. So why would I say Rodriguez should have said anything but the truth? This is not to deny the coercion the government faces, but we should not also deny that this is what the government has been seeking for sometime, obviously minus the conditions of extreme duress. As for whether it is "pointless" to denounce the Delcy Rodriguez government for conceding to US demands while "we can criticise the Rodriguez government's response to the blockade" I think this is just semantics. At what point does a useful criticism become a pointless denunciation? Fred -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Groups.io Links: You receive all messages sent to this group.
