I'm not surprised. Pro-Palestine protests in Victoria get out about 100
people ( I have it in my head Marv is from there). It is a select group.
Most are from the "western" left and view Ukraine as the enemy. For these
campists Ukraine is a US proxy infested with Banderites and neonazis.
There is lots of drumming and anti- imperialist speeches, but for me the
best part is the richly embroidered dresses the Arab women wear.
