The Cuban Revolution, despite the long experience of its communist leaders, is simply confirmation that it is impossible to build socialism in a single country within an environment dominated by global imperialism. Especially since the fall of the USSR, the only possibility is to resist, to buy time through solidarity with struggles such as providing medical aid to the Palestinians, to take advantage of inter-imperialist divisions to obtain some opportunities for economic exchange, however disadvantageous, etc. But ultimately, the future of the revolution depends on the evolution of the balance of power between classes at the global level.
