I don't need to demonstrate here the experience of the Cuban communist leaders. 
Their history, marked by difficult conditions—be it the hostility of the 
imperialist world or the negative weight of the USSR's influence—did not 
prevent them from supporting numerous national liberation movements while 
maintaining, as far as possible, an exemplary social system, even amidst the 
current stifling pressures that threaten it. I simply wanted to examine the 
fate of the Cuban revolution within the context of the progress and setbacks of 
international class struggles.
