However, the Cuban revolution, despite its extremely precarious situation, is 
not doomed, thanks to the giant strides the working class has made since the 
October Revolution and its defeat in 1928 at the hands of the Stalinist 
bureaucracy. There have been the decolonization movements, which the 
imperialists have partially managed to overcome, as well as the labor unions 
movements, now firmly entrenched in bourgeois laws, and then neoliberalism, 
which has eroded a significant portion of social gains. Despite everything, we, 
the social movements and the working class, have broadened our political 
horizons against the various forms of oppression and exploitation! The mass 
organizations that are the institutions of the Cuban revolution are the heart 
of Cuban democracy.
