Can you send me a copy of your config? Fall back works perfectly here. I
just rechecked. I get the default string if I'm not running ident on the
windows machine and the windows client response if I am.
This can also happen if you've left an "auth" entry in inet.conf on the
masq'd machine and are not actually running an indent server.
