I've had IP Masq running for many moons with my LAN connecting to my ISP

over a dialup v.90.

My DSL was just installed, with a single static IP from my ISP, and I'm
attempting a short-cut that has turned into everything but that, but I
only have one NIC in the Linux system. I've attempted to setup the NIC
with aliases (my internal IP's and the static ISP IP) and to use IP Masq

to mask and route the traffic. I understand that this isn't as
efficient as two NIC's, but I really don't want to open up the box to
drop in another NIC.

I'm going through the FAQ at indyramp.com, but its long and a search
engine isn't evident. TIA

Barry
