been REALLY busy as of late..
With the new DHCPd for the 2.2.x kernels, there is a file that is
executed once a new IP address is received. This is much like
PPPd's /etc/ppp/ip-up file.
I haven't personally used this new DHCPd server but the functionality
should be there. Also, I don't know if this feature has been back-
ported to the 2.0.x kernels.

Nature of the beast but usually DHCP servers will re-issue the same
IP address back to the client. Now why your ISP insists on giving you
a different IP address is beyond me.
