I'm running RH5.1 on a 486 box to connect my LAN to the internet.
Everything works fine except for two things:
-My ISP uses DHCP and changes my IP regularly (I'm on cable). Everytime
that happens I have to manually restart the firewall script in order to
get things working again. Putting the script in cron doesn't help much
because I don't like the connection to be down for 2 minutes or whatever.
Any suggestions?
-Outgoing traffic (e.g.ftp uploads), all seems to be sent per 200K packets
and they seem to timeout after 5 minutes. I have no idea how I can solve
this. Help :)
