You don't need this patch since it was integrated into the kernel but
it still didn't completely solve the problem.

There was a HUGE debate over this on the IPSEC (SWAN) list about 2 months
ago. We had Alan Cox, John Hardin, etc all in on the conversation.
Ultimately, the issue is a matter of standards, methodology, and the
fact that it seems that Alan doesn't see or "want to see" that there is
a problem. I was very excited on the hope that this problem might get
fixed via the IPSEC group but the thread fizzled out. But, to be honest,
with the performance of ISDN, DSL, Cablemodems, etc, you'll want to run
an MTU of 1500 anyway.

Regardless its still a bummer.

Anyway... regarding your Win98 attachment problems, have you applied
all of the newest Win98 patches to your machine? This might help.
Also understand that whenever you EVER go into the Windows98 control
panel, make some changes, and then it hits your CDROM drive for
some various CAB files, you will have to re-apply those patches.

        - EVERY SINGLE TIME. Sucks but its Windows reality.
