That error message usually means that one of the sequence files could not be
opened; probably the file "ABAchr.fas" which supposedly lives in a folder
called ABBdb/Mauve on your desktop. 

If ABAchr.fas is a real file, and is also in FastA format, I would suggest
moving it (and ABBchr.fas) to another location.  Perhaps it would be best to
create a C:\ABBdb\Mauve folder and put files there in order to rule out any
problems with spaces in filenames.  Mauve should be able to handle spaces,
but maybe something strange is happening on your windows installation...
