Hit to all,

On the topic of emulation and such, I was wondering if anyone had found a way to do the opposite of Mac-On-Linux - run Linux in a vmware within OS X? I am getting so sick of wasting hours of my time fighting with fink and apt-get trying to keep kde and quanta up-to-date that I figured I'd be better off looking into running gentoo in a separate virtual environment within OS X. I googled for a while though, and came up empty-handed. Anyone else ever find something like this?

On windows its called Colinux and I run Gentoo on it to run SheepSaver as there is no win32 port yet, the speed is good. You might look for a port.

BTW, Dana, you rock!!! Running OS X in pearpc in linux on a Quadra! LOL. That's even sicker than my thought of running OS X in pearpc on my Sharp Zaurus :D.

X on a quadra works! ;) but since I dont rock, we will be testing the amiga 1200+ running Fusion (real one not the crappy dos port) to run exodus to run OS X on a real computer. :) the speed wont be good, I wont help you. :p

cheers
