So would it be more accurate to say that machines introduced after A/UX 3.1.1 
(which happens to include the AVs) are not supported?  Anybody know of a 
post-3.1.1 machine that A/UX will boot on?  The Q605 (with LC040 swapped out) 
was my next candidate, if I could locate one.  I didn't look close enough to 
realize it wasn't supported either.

Wow, John, that's great.  I'll try to verify that it's working (the LC III has 
been in storage since I acquired it) but I'm definitely interested.

Good call.  I suppose just having differently named kernels in the same 
partition wouldn't cut it, eh?  :)  Oh well it was a nice idea...

Just keep it turned down.  I nearly always ssh in, even when I'm in the same 
room...sometimes I forget that it would be faster to swivel my chair to the 
other desk and log in at the console.  :)  I'd LOVE to have reverse video 
working so this wouldn't be as much of a concern, though.  If only I had the 
time to devote to it...
