I have permission to put it up on the wiki, and will volunteer to do some edits. The reason that I'm interested in this, is that I was planning to write Maypole::Manual::Beginner. This tutorial goes a long way towards that, but needs clarification for people like me - i.e. someone who is making the move from procedural to oo programming and doesn't identify as a "real computer programmer" (like computer science person) in the first place. As well as making sure that it works with the current release and unimportant stuff like that.
Good to hear that Kieren.
That's a good point. I think that for the Maypole::Manual namespace, the structure makes updating and keeping current difficult.
I'd be very interested to hear your views on how to improve the structure of the manual.
That might be a project for me after there's a tutorial I'm happy with. At the moment, the available tutorials are not current, and/or assume more prior knowledge than I'm comfortable with assuming. We need to make the process of "getting your head around Maypole" a little less byzantine.
