If you'd actually followed the thread, you would have gathered that inspect, adapt and apply (in this order) is exactly what the maintainers are after in this particular case. It would be great if you would consider using some other venue if you just want to get something random off your chest: I have no problem with constructive rants, but almost every single sentence of your post was misguided. However, very annoyingly, trying to explain something to you will most likely not work anyways, but also take time away from actually getting mooffie's work merged.
