I had a very strange experience with the last upgrade of MDII. My old
addressbook was gone, and I could not write to the new one. I have a
rexx script that will transfer my YAM address book to MDII. As I
ggenerally have it more up to date (I have a rexx script that goes the
other way too, when MDII' is more up to date), and did at this point I
simply used the script to transfer my YAM address book to MDII. Well
it worked, and the address book is now there and functioning and I can
write to and read from it, and use it to address emails. I think the
whole thing has to do with how Contact Manager Library works. After
running the script, I finally got the prompt, "Do you want to import
your old addess book into MicroDot?" I clicked on yes and it did it,
even though I could not get the prompt with my old MDII address book.
I had to do the same thing on the wife's machine too. It worked but
it's weird.
