Patrick,

In your last message about mdII you stated the horror that comes when
you speak with an ISP and they say, "Well, what type of computer are you
running Windows; and, is it Windows 95, 98, or NT?" Then when you say,
"I am asking a question about what is going on at your office with your
servers, they ask again about the Windows thing and add, "Which version
of Netscape Nav/Com or MS IE are you using." You then say, "I am not
talking about a "front end" situation, I am talking about a unary situa-
tion!" To this, the person repeats him or herself.

Well, the only thing I can think of, for you/me/all Amigans, to say,
is, "Put the superviser/manager or someone who understands Unix/Linux on
the phone because that is what the Internet and WWW are all about, not
the computer system you are using to connect!!!" Maybe, then, you will
be able to find out what is really going on at your ISP. In the end, it
might very well be caused by your good ole phone company playing games,
again. IMHO.

                                         Julian.
