This problem has cropped up before on the list, and the only bad fix I have
heard it to not have MDII delete the mail from the server, and then try
digging it off the server after download, and then redownload with delete
from server in place or use another mailer, like YAM to delete the mail
from the server. I can't remember if anyone figured out what was causing
it, or a better solution. Having to download the mail twice, even with
another mailer is a PITA, though Avoid duplicates would help, coupled with
the Mail manager, where you can just delete the mail and not have to
actually download it. The problem was discussed back in .198 days when
there was no Mail manager in MDII.
