Fortunately, this bug doesn't crop up frequently.  I never noticed it
at all when using 0.198.  In fact, 0.198 seemed to work better,
and was more stable, than the later full releases.  1.4.4 is the first
of those releases that comes close to being as bug free and stable as
0.198.  Although, it's not perfect.
