I've just checked that version of the script, and the longest line is 99
characters long.
In an earlier mail you asked "Does uudecode do base64 as well as UUe?". I
encoded a file and it failed to unencode it. I think I'm going to have try
out some of the other versions of the Uudecode command.(see below)
I was pleased to here from Dennis that he got the script working, but he
may have shown up a problem, more than one Uudecode command around, the one
I'm using is 20052 bytes in size, and has no version string.
Others I have found are;
Uudecode 10916 bytes (in the old AmiTCP archive)
Uudecode 2440 bytes (a renamed UUDecodeX file)
Is it still not working Patrick? I just can't think why, unless it's the same
problem Dennis had.
