That is one of the "hidden" disadvantages of MP3. Joe public (if he knows of
it) thinks MP3 is linked to PCs/computers in general. Fine for us geeks, but
most of the populous just doesn't want to know. For example, my dad has a
mini system with MD, and he uses it alot, stating its ease of use as one of
its advantages. I tried showing him MP3 on my PC, and he just didn't want to
know - "too technical" was his response. The people pushing MP3 have to get
MP3 out of the geek domain and into the real world. MD is, for the large
part, already there :)
