When ripped from a CD onto your PC, it's not a problem as SCMS is not even
considered. All CD-DA extraction programs will observe the copy protection
bit and let you know, but they'll rip the track anyway 3#-)

when music is encoded to WAV files are they still digital? so can't you just
rip a cd into wav and then just recorded it thru a digital daughter card for
sblive or the xitel storm platinum??
