Sony portables have it. All Sony portables have it. Only Sony portables
have it. Any other MD recorder -- if it is not portable, or not Sony, or
neither -- does not have it and will put new recorded material into open
space by default. Some allow overwriting if you go to the extra trouble
of first positioning the read at the start of the area to be overwritten (or
perhaps pausing there). Others do not support overwriting at all and require
you to record, delete, and resequence (or delete, record, and resequence if
there isn't enough space on the disc until you delete the unwanted material).
