i recently purchased a pair of noise cancelling headphones for flying and i
can say 110% without a doubt that they are worth every penny.  the one thing
i did notice is that if there is someone around that likes to talk (like on
every flight) that has an annoying voice (again on every flight) they talk
louder than normal because they have to compensate for the engine noise,
where you are cancelling a bunch of that, it does not cancel out the
annoying people who appear louder :(
