The sample rates used are normally 48khz (although some can do 44.1, what a
CD/MD works at), but most MD players have sampling rate converters anyway,
but if you need a sampling rate converter, you could buy the Behringher
Ultramatch SRC2000 for about $250, a bit pricey, but its also a format
converter AND SCMS stripper as well. Search for it in google.com and you
will also probably find Linus P Sweers review of it as well, which I found
helpful enough for it to be a prospective purchase :)
