Before we had a bit different way of Fennec building, and that was xulrunner package (b7,b8... current mozilla-central is b13) + fennec package which was actually xulrunner application. and fennec has lower numbers. (b1,...b6)

Wow, you should really try to get a current version in, as that has improvements in a number of ways, probably including startup speed, which I guess is a major factor you want to consider. Also, I think it might be a good idea to have some talk with someone from our mobile team at Mozilla, so we can get the best out of work on both sides Do you have some contact there?
